MADLINEMAN was started by former offensive guard of the Houston Texans, Fred Weary. Weary is a former University of Tennessee student-athlete with a degree in Economics, who retired from the NFL in 2010. After retiring from the NFL, Weary decided to spend his time volunteer coaching with Nolan Ryan Junior High School in Pearland, TX. During his volunteer efforts he saw a major void for our youth in athletics, because of the lack of support and funding due to economic issues our society is burdened with today. His experience with the Nolan Ryan undefeated (8-0) 7th grade football team has inspired him to want to be an asset to his community. Weary wants to assist local school districts, parents, and taxpayers responsible for insuring our student-athletes are properly educated on how to be an outstanding citizen in our society. He inspires them to be a model student-athlete on and off the field.
